Backdraft is a custom built v8 Dodge Dakota Bodied Tough Truck. Ohio’s rough truck races are known to host some of the coolest looking custom built tough trucks around. For those of you that might not have seen past posts about this, tough truck (rough truck, tuff truck, pro arena trucks) races involve short course single vehicle time trials. The point is to go around the track as quickly as possible. Scoring is based on time with penalties added for hitting cones.
Anyway, Backdraft has been around for awhile and always puts on a good showing. I think today, though, the truck is going by a different name because the original owner sold it.
