Pro Stock Semi Truck Pull Shameless

The Pro Stock Semi OSTPA class in Ohio is a real crowd pleaser. While there isn’t many that compete with these big tractors, they always draw big crowds.

The trucks themselves are beefed up Semi Trucks. The rules for these trucks is that they must be 20,000lbs or lighter with a 250 inch max wheelbase and under 102 inches wide. The drivers cannot move the engine more than 1 foot either way from the stock location and must have a complete firewall. Aside from that the engines, while they don’t have to be stock for the vehicle, cannot be complete custom units or use non oem heads. Tractor Pulling and truck pulling is a very popular event here in Ohio, and probably some of the most exciting and dangerous to record. With both the OSTPA and NTPA leagues operating in Ohio it is probably some of the most accessible events for spectators to attend. The National Tractor Pullers Association is the largest league operating around ohio, and as the name suggests, it is a national sanctioning body. It has been around since 1969, and the inception was a successful attempt to unify the pulling classes. The Ohio State Tractor Pullers Association is a regional sanctioning body in Ohio, and they run basically the same classes that the NTPA runs. The OSTPA claim to fame has to be the number of pro stock semis that they have in attendance. One of the most famous Semi tractor pullers in the area was Brockasaurus, with its wild paint job resembling a dinosaur. RPM Army (previously known as Wrench Moran Motorsports) has been around for several years. Here at RPM Army on YouTube we focus on local motorsports events. The goal is to provide the best local coverage of racing events in the central Ohio area. The events usually involve drag racing, tractor pulling, tough truck, off road racing, and mudding. The goal of recording the events we visit is to create shareable videos for the racers and fans of specific cars. Because of that, we usually don’t produce longer videos. Instead we create videos of single runs so the drive or crew can share it across social platforms. While our exclusive content on YouTube only covers events in the Ohio Valley area, we invite subscribers to come and visit the site or email us to share pictures and stories about your own rides so we can, in turn, share your projects with the world. If you have a cool video or anything else you feel is worth sharing navigate to the about section on the channel and drop us a line or go to www.rpmarmy.com and submit your story to the sharing section! Our videos have been featured on a number of websites and TV shows over the years. One of the more interesting projects was being a contributor to Fat ‘N Furious on the Discovery Channel over the course of two seasons. Typically the contributions were clips for their introduction for each project car. Aside from our YouTube channel we also operate on several other social platforms, and our website.
