Up on deck today we have an awesome Super Gas 1976 Pontiac GTO drag racing during the Lucas Oil Drag Racing series held at National Trail Raceway. Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series is an NHRA racing series that take place all over the country. They have classes that range from Top Alcohol Dragsters all the way down to bone stock classes. For this year, National Trail Raceway and the NHRA combined two events to create a new week long event Called JEGS SPEEDweek. This was the result of the combination of the JEGS SPORTSnationals and the Lucas Oil Division 3 race. National Trail Raceway is an NHRA quarter mile drag strip located between Hebron and Kirkersville, Ohio, USA, off of U.S. Route 40. The track is located about 30 minutes east of Columbus, Ohio. It was first opened in 1964 and was the fifth largest facility at the time. It is also a PDRA member track that runs 1/8th mile outlaw door-slammer drag races.
