This week, we go behind the wheel with Charlie Achterkirch in his beautiful 2014 Mercedes Benz C63 AMG. In the near future, it is obvious that the trend of moving from combustion engines to electric is inevitable. However, of the combustion engines, the era of mid-sized, eight-cylinder german saloons will be a rarity. Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz produced eight-cyllinder competing vehicles in the same 5 year span and I am certain that these may become future classics. Eight-Cylinders in heavy, inefficient and can have higher maintenance costs, however, the sensory effects to the enthusiast, is priceless.
