Cars and Coffee events are spread all over the United States. GearHeadTour's own Amanda Mertz and Hannah Marshall visited the Cars & Coffee in Franklin, Tennessee, just south of Nashville. The first visit was cut short, due to political protests in the area. The police were afraid of protestors damaging cars, so the event was stopped just after it got started. But, not before we talked with @corvettemuseum NCM Motorsports Park's Taylor Howard about the new C8 Corvette. The C8 Corvette is super sick, and the new mid-engine platform is really something to see from @Chevrolet We returned a year later, and as usual the Franklin Cars and Coffee was LEGIT. We saw everything you can imagine. From the exotic side we spotted a Pagani Hyaura, McLaren P1 and McLaren 620LT, Ferraris and more. There were, of course, tons of muscle cars, classics, motorcycles, import tuner cars, hot rods and some the reached into the bizarre. In this video we feature a 1970 Ford Mustang Fastback, a restomod build with a modern, supercharged engine from a late model Cobra. We also stop and talk to the owner of a cool 1975 Datsun 280Z.
