Tesla Swapped 1972 Plymouth Satellite – SEMA 2021 – Project Electrollite

Tesla Swapped 1972 Plymouth Satellite - SEMA 2021 - Project Electrollite

The Tesla swapped Plymouth Satellite that belongs to @Kevin Erickson is one awesome build. This year at the 2021 SEMA show, there was a definite uptick in the number of electric swapped vehicles. This 1972 Plymouth Satellite – titled project Electrollite – is one of the first EV swapped muscle cars we learned about. GearHeadTour's Chase Robbins has been following the project through social media outlets for some time, and when the opportunity to meet up with Kevin to talk about his EV swap project, we couldn't resist. After you watch this video, you can check out more in depth videos on Kevin's own YouTube page www.youtube.com/c/MrMoparMan Kevin put a lot of work into this build that includes swapping the car over to be powered by parts that mostly came from an @Tesla Model S P100D donor. The car rides on Nitto tires, wrapped around American Racing wheels. @Wilwood Disc Brakes are on all four corners, to help bring the car to a stop. The final project has a 45/55 front to rear weight distribution, giving the car a very nimble attitude. 0:00 1972 Plymouth Satellite
