Check out this sweet Plymouth ‘cuda tearing it up at National Trail Raceway! The Barracuda or ‘cuda was a two door car manufactured by Plymouth from 1964 to 1974. It came with anywhere from a small slant 6 all the way to the 2x4bbl 426 and the mighty 440. The first and second generations of the car were based on the Plymouth Valiant A-Body, but the third and arguably best looking generation was an E-Body base similar to the Dodge Challenger. The 1971 Hemi ‘cuda is by far considered to be the most collectible year and model. National Trail Raceway is an NHRA member track that began life back in 1964. The complex sits on 320 acres, and back when it was built it was the fifth largest track of its kind in the united states. It plays host to a number of very popular events every year, some of them being Night of Thunder, the Mopar Nationals, Import Face-Off, and Jegs ET Series.
