This 1971 Plymouth Hemi Cuda Convertible went across the auction block at @Mecum Auctions Indianapolis in 2021. In 2014 a Hemi Cuda Convertible sold for $3.5M, and that's the record still today for an American muscle car. Check out Mecums video about this very car here www.youtube.com/watch?v=XpmI4y8GZoc The 1971 Hemi 'Cuda was the final year for the famed muscle car. This one is one of just 12 Cuda convertibles ordered in 1971 with the 426 hemi engine, and only 3 of those were ordered with the 4 speed manual transmission. This car becomes a one-of-one when you factor in that this is the only one that was painted in Winchester Grey Metallic. It has the Hemi billboards in black, which really make the grey pop. This 'Cuda is an all original survivor, with numbers matching engine and transmission, and all the paperwork to back up its provenance. It has a 7.0 liter, 426 cubic inch hemi engine with 425 horsepower and 490 pound feet of torque. The motor is coupled to the A833 four speed transmission paired with a Hurst pistol grip shifter.
